Equality and Justice Day Albany

Each year 1,000+ GLBTQ folks and their allies visit Albany to show our numbers/strength and make our needs known to our elected officials.  It is a long day on a bus, but if you want to ride the GLYS bus with other WNY high school students, ACT NOW!!

When: Monday, May 9, 2011

Who: WNY GLBTQ students and their allies

Why: A chance to make your voice heard in Albany

What: Prep for meeting with an elected official on the trip to Albany.  While in Albany, meet with a senator or assembly person, caucus with youth from around the State, hear from ranking political figures & join in a rally at the Capitol!

Cost: None!  GLYS will cover the cost of transportation, breakfast snacks, registration (includes lunch) & pizza for the trip home.

Completed permission forms must be received by GLYS no later than April 15th.
